Nicolas Cage, the star of Con Air, The Rock and Willy’s Wonderland, is to make a special guest appearance in Dead By Daylight.
Hollywood legend and walking meme factory Nicolas Cage is to appear in the multiplayer horror outing, Dead By Daylight.
Developer Behaviour Interactive revealed as much in a video shared on Twitter. “There’s nothing more powerful than imagination,” a Nicolas Cage voiceover intones. “It can shake the fabric of reality, transforming everything you think you know.”
A CGI replica of Cage’s face then fills the screen, fixing us with its disquieting digital stare.
It’s the performance of a lifetime.

Further details are currently in short supply, though Behaviour Interactive will be announcing more over the summer – 5 July to be precise.
Cage is, of course, one of the hardest-working actors in showbiz, with starring roles in everything from Hollywood blockbusters like Con Air and The Rock to low-budget horror like Renfield and the psychedelic Color Out Of Space. Cage was even game enough to send up his whole persona and career in the charming action comedy, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
The actor’s contribution to the games industry, meanwhile, is rather smaller, so it’ll be interesting to see exactly how Behaviour deploys Cage and his famously flamboyant acting style. Even if he provides little more than a cameo, the amount of attention Cage’s appearance has already received has probably made his salary worth paying.
