Teyon’s imminent singleplayer FPS Terminator: Resistance has been gathering steam ahead of next week’s release, and it certainly seems to have enough shades of Heavy Fire to be an arcade-adjacent experience.
The Terminator franchise may be wobbling at the cinema, with future planned sequels to this year’s Dark Fate now in doubt, but the Reef-published Resistance is hoping to be the kind of Terminator game you’ve been waiting a long while for, setting you up in a post-Judgment Day L.A. and asking you to become part of the fight back against Skynet.
Check out the opening ten minutes of the game below…
Terminator: Resistance introduces a new hero, Jacob Rivers, a soldier in the Resistance Pacific Division. Despite the fact that Jacob is just a private, he’ll soon discover that he’s been targeted by the latest threat from SKYNET and marked for termination!
SKYNET may be destined to lose this war, but at what cost to Jacob? Experience the events leading up to the decisive final battle, smash SKYNET’s Defence Grid and help decide the fate of mankind in the war against the machines!
Terminator: Resistance is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 15th November in the UK.
