There’s now a ‘Sex%’ speedrunning category for Baldur’s Gate 3, and the current copulation record is 7 minutes 54 seconds.
You probably know by now that Baldur’s Gate 3 is a pretty horny game. The video that Larian Studios shared ahead of release showing a chap having sex with a bear (or rather, a druid in bear form) probably clued you in. In short, getting down and dirty is a big part of Baldur’s Gate 3, with options to romance all sorts of characters throughout the game. But just how quickly can you make the beast with two backs?
In under 8 minutes, it turns out.
Speedrunners have been excitedly tinkering around with Baldur’s Gate 3, looking for time-saving exploits, and someone has already managed to finish the game in an astonishing 10 minutes. Now, some speedrunners are turning their attention to a ‘Sex%’ run, competing to see who can copulate the fastest.
The speedrunner Mae has posted a video in which the player hero (here appropriately named ‘Gigachad Thundercock’) manages to bed the Githyanki warrior Lae’zel in a mere 7 minutes and 54 seconds. Mae notes in a comment underneath the video that the Sex% run was “originally a 5 hour endeavour, then 2 hours, then 20 minutes, and now 8 minutes”, with the time to consummation plummeting thanks to various exploits being discovered.
But this is just the beginning. Speedrunners are already excitedly discussing a ‘Bear%’ run on Speedrun.com, with the aim of getting to the game’s infamous bear sex scene as quickly as possible. As I said, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a very horny game.
