Twitter has been having a field day with PlayStation UK’s saucy ’19 inches of Venom’ innuendo.
There’s a collector’s edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on the way which includes a 19-inch statue of Venom battling with Peter Parker and Miles Morales. All fine and normal, we’ve seen plenty of collector’s editions like this before.
But then PlayStation UK put out the following tweet:

Immediately, users across Twitter (or X, to give it its new, emo name) spat out their coffee mid-sip and reached for their meme generators as ‘Venom’ began trending. What a rare treat in these corporate-sanitised times to receive such a saucy innuendo from a major games company, the kind of Carry On-level euphemism that would make even Kenneth Williams gasp.
